Throwing weapon then shoot with bow

Can a bow-armed warrior with a throwing do this? In the Move Phase, use his throwing weapon when charging a target -- killing the target then finishes his remain move distance and is unengaged. Can he in the Shoot Phase, use his bow? I am unsure whether using a throwing weapon in the Move Phase when charging would be considered as "shooting". Thank you in advance for your thoughts.

No, you can only shoot once, and using a throwing weapon on the charge counts as shooting.

I can't really find anything in the rules stating that a model with a TW and a bow isn't allowed to use them both in the way you describe, considering of course that it fulfills the usual shooting criteria namely the movement penalty. The rules for TW clearly state that if you kill your initial target then you complete your move as you wish. If you haven't used more than half of your movement then there is nothing stoping you from using your bow in the shooting phase.

No you certainly cannot use both. the laws of time, unless they could move swifter than horses, no they cannot use both in the same turn, due to the amount of time that each turn represents.

I get your point but find me a rules query that supports that.
If you kill your initial target with your TW can't you then charge another one with your hand weapon or move to support a friend with your spear in the same turn?
I can't see anything different in shooting with your bow in game terms.

Finally, just found it.
ORB pg. 42 : "If a warrior is armed with several different shooting weapons, eg, a throwing spear and a bow, he can use either one of them in the shoot phase but he cannot use both in the same turn."

Well, if you charge+kill and stop moving, would you still be able to throw your weapon again in the shoot phase? I know that they meant for this to be a no, but the rules don't say anything against it.

Yes they do - P.45 "only one may be thrown per game turn"

Yes, but what I'm saying is what's stopping them from throwing in the MOVE phase and then throwing again in the SHOOT phase.

They do, but it's unbelievable to me people would even ask. Talk about gaming the system rather than playing the game!

full passage is: Note that models armed with throwing weapons are assumed to have enough axes or javelins, etc., to last the whole battle. However, only one can be thrown per game turn.
