It's also comforting to know I have most of the minis the decisions are about.... Except the usual extremely rare

God help us all if one of these ever gets posted on EBAY.......

This is the captain right? £40 is way out of my range for 1 model, albeit a rare one. You probably can't do this anymore but I think when it was originally released you could order that model on its own through direct order without having to buy the battlehost set that it was sold in.

Though I also got that auction, this auction was for the invisible frodo foot base and about 12 other common characters that I will either resell on ebay or strip and chop into bits for other usage.

I have a question. I was cleaning out my boxes of gaming stuff the other day and came across a BME-3 Balrog, Encounter at Khazad-Dum box. It is still in the shrink wrap (though it is peeling a little) and never been opened. I found it on SoL (http://www.solegends.com/citlotr/bme3balrog.htm) but cant seem to find out much more about it. I will probably e-bay it eventually. Is there a market for these 1980's LotR minis?

I actually managed to find a previous auction on ebay for the box $295. Without a picture! That seems a little fishy to me, but also fills me with hope/greed/my precious.

Some times people get emotional over bidding and drive prices way up. I can not go that high for duplicate miniatures because they are in a mint box. The box may be important enough to some one . Give E bay a try

I just ordered a bunch of outriders from GW and I ended up getting 3 of this pose. I don't think he is as rare as he is rumored to be.

Yet it has a starting bid kinda expensive.... Looks like someone is trying to sell a fake rare mini's for a huge price

Well it is sensible if you want to get rid of it and people think it's rare. For instance, if I wanted to get rid of my Mahud (which I don't), I would call the Warrior with the outstrethed spear rare even though it isn;t because so many people think it is.

Just stumbled upon this guys auctions...He has loads of OOP metal miniatures in massive lots, including old Swan Knights, Last Alliance Orcs and whatnot. Theres already competition, but I thought I'd see if any of you good fellows were interested.

If they were in the UK, the metal Orc Warriors and metal Warg Riders would be fair game, but they are not, but at least thats not more models that I couldn't get around to painting.
