dweller in the dark question

can a dweller in a dark be it's own warband? if so where does it say that in the moria/angmar sourcebook?

Dweller is a warrior so no it can not be in his own warband it got to be leaded by a hero/captain

I was told by a games workshop employee that it could, just as an ent doesn't need to be lead by a captain either because it is a monster. He said all monsters don't need to be taken in warbands by heroes. I guess that's wrong?

You asked a store assistant? Then yes he is wrong as they are in 99% of all cases.

Do some store assistants genuinly think that then? I thought the guy in my GW was joking when he seemed to indicate that he though you could have an army made entirely out of Mordor Trolls without any heroes.

If a monster is a Warrior they cannot lead troops, if they are a Hero they can, as with all else. Simple.
