this another 'archers are half points cost' list for minas tirith
1. is it legal?
2. is it good?
3. will it work well versus an archer heavy army?
4. what do i do with the extra points?
5. are there any improvements that i can make?

I think you would be outnumbered by pretty much every force. the result of two major heroes. the best i think would to take saruman and another Minis tirith warband instead of gandalf/aragorn.

And what exactly is the use and reason of having archers at half points? it definitely outbalances the game.

Glad I'm not the only one I was very confused by that.

If that were the case I'm pretty sure I'd try to fit in 30 citadel guard and the rest who cares!

well you use gandalf the white aragorn and sam 430 points out of 600 and then you have faramir -- 95 points and a captain-- 60 points so I don't know where you can find extra points for a 600 army actually your army has 769 points

so my advice: drop gandalf, strider, sam. drop the bow of the captain. drop the horse or the bow from faramir. then use normal gondor heroes like madril or beregond with normal troop, or like i suggested before, use one or two avengers bolt throwers . this if you want to stick with the minas tirith theme

surely all the guys with the bows (Strider, MT Captain, Faramir) are the ones most worth keeping as they are half price???

I normally wouldn't take gandalf but i really like the model and i want to try him out
