If a warg's rider gets killed and the warg stays in the battle, does it still count as cavalry for the purposes of charging etc?

As cereal_thief said. Cavalry is defined as a mount + a rider. If the rider is slain, you no longer have cavalry.

First, sorry carestion for somewhat going off topic. Your question triggered one of mine.

I do understand that broken force test is in the move phase and before the figure moves. If the warg passes the courage and continues to fight after the rider is slain, is the rider counted as a casualty immediately for the purposes of broken force or wait until after the warg is slain as well, since originally a warg rider is 1 model. The warg may survive several turns after the rider is slain. How do you handle this situation?

I believe the warg has to die too, or run away, before it's counted as a casualty.

Wish posters would be sure or read the rules before answering and not guess :)
As Whafrog say's cavalry is described as a mount and rider so it does not count as cavalry, also the wild warg entry does not say its cavalry either.

Break point is determined by the number of models on the table. With a warg rider and a dead rider, no model is lost, there is still a model on the table, so there is no change to the model count.
