Thank you all very much for your words. I am thinking to start a new project, a warband of Osgiliath Veterans. I have Cirion, the Lieutenant of Amon Barad, "the boldest of the bold" and a set of three Osgiliath Veterans, not painted yet. And I have to convert nine Warriors of Minas Tirith to complete a full warband. Although, if you have Cirion you do not need a banner-bearer, I made this miniature first. I used greenstuff for the cloak and its fur, a GB shield and the spear of a Knight of Minas Tirith as the flag. Below you can see the final result, the initial miniature of Warrior of Minas Tirith with his spear and some stages of the conversion procedure.
I do not have the new rulebook "Kingdoms of Men", does the above rule of Cirion still count?

What a great thread! Full of my favorite things - Conversions! The fur sculpting on those chariots was also well done. You have some skill with a blade! :yay:

Thank you all for your nice words! King Ondoher, a friend gave me the head. He told me that it is from a DeAgostini issue "Battle games in middle earth" which had a set of spare heads, hands, weapons, etc.

Ah yes, the famous LotR Conversion sprue. Thanks Batpan. :)

edit.

Your Windowmaker Orc captain from page 2 is amazing. What were the main components? Looks like you did a lot of sculpting.

...

Nevermind I found it on your blog.

Cirion is ready. The Veterans start to take shape. Here you can see a photo of their first stage. Any C&C is welcome.

Hi,

great painting on Cirion! I also like the round shields you gave these soldiers very much-where are they from? (sorry if you said that already)

Thank you all for the comments. I was out of town so I did not finish my Veterans yet. Anyway, here some photos of them before the painting procedure. C&C are welcome as always.
