Hey guys, I am looking for some normal infantry bases, and some cavalry bases to put my WF persians on. I need ~50 cavalry bases and ~70 infantry bases. Anybody have good places to get cheap bases? I looked at some of the links in the square bases topic, but I was wondering if there was something cheaper out there yet.

One question, has anyone based figures on mdf-type bases? How stable were they? They seem like they would be less stable on a textured surface than GW's cut-away bottom ones.....Though if they are thinner, I could use them and have the (slightly) taller WF guys be the same height as my other lotr guys....

Thoughts?
Links?

Thanks :)

Try this:

They've got very cheap bases, both 25mm and 40mm.
I can't help you with the mdf-bases question.

WF also sells 25mm bases in bundles of 30- they're slightly thinner than GW bases, but they should work just as well (they're about the same price as GW sells 10 for, by the way). I picked up a number of them for the rather large collection of models I recently acquired. :)
