I know horns have a specific rule in WOTR, but what about in SBG? Do they count as a drum? With the same rules as an orc drummer?

Think more along the lines of Merry's Horn of the Mark

Thanks. And if it was a Mahud horn blower, would the rule apply to mahud's only?

Horns usually apply to everyone in your army, regardless of faction.

However, Mahud Warriors cannot take hornblowers. The only Evil models allowed to take them are Black Numenoreans, Morgul KNights and Haradrim Warriors.

The horn of the Mahud Chieftain model is for show only and cannot be used, sorry.

I think he was asking because he's considering house-ruling it...

I think you should just buy the book to find all this out. You may find that you no longer want Mahud (they got nerfed).

Fixed that for you. I hated the old Mahud rules, as they were blatantly over-powered (compared to all other Men) in order to sell more minis. If any should have stats similar to those, it would be the Numenoreans.

Well, it was a "relative" nerfing :)

Very true, and while I approved of it myself I feel bad for all those who invested a lot into sizable Mahud forces. That's twice that GW got cheeky about them...

Haha, true, but like Whafrog said, they went from being the most overpowered to the least powered.

I really wish that Numenoreans were as awesome as they were supposed to be.

Yes, better rules and better models; their models are considerably smaller than Warriors of Minas Tirith.

They still have Strength 4, but who doesn't these days? Oh right, every Good Warrior profile save 3...

Exactly. Because, you know, the bad guys are always better. Just like in the books. Oh wait...
