An army of wood elves with legolas thranduil and a ton of wood elves/sentinels/stormcallers all with a ranged attack of some kind maybe add in some woses and/or artillery (in the form of gondorian machines) or an ent (or two)to spice things up. Would make for a hell of a game.

Some pretty awesome armies here!

Some of my dream armies:
- The Nine (all mounted, with the old models, close to completion)
- A large Gondor army representing them as in the books (no plate). Including: Faramir, Boromir, WoMT, Imrahil, Swan Knight and Fiefdoms. Working on it, but far from completion.
- The Grey Company, all mounted! (Aragorn, Legolas, Gimli, Elladan, Elrohir, Halbarad, 30 Rangers of the North)
- Théoden's Eored (120 Riders of Rohan), true to the books.
- An army of Fingon, Noldor of Hithlum and Men of Dor-Lomin, to recreate the Nírnaeth Arnoediad.

Dwellers aren't heros, so you would have to have goblins leading them (or just have the balrog and some dragons as leaders.

You want a full Nirnaeth Arnoediad? Well, I suppose it would look REALLY brilliant after 30 years of hard labour...

Ooooh! This is why I came back to LOTR SBG :D

- whitch king led on a fell beast PLUS ALL WRAITHS ON FELL BESTS. Scores of pathetic orcs mixed with some Morannon's with trolls and Morgul Nights (Read dark Numenorians) to back them up. This is actually close to the first army I'm trying to build.

- Melkor!! But I'll settle for Sauron as lieutenant leading an army of puny orcs, Balrogs and Dragons.

I like the idea of an evil Eldar Days army streaming from Thangorodrim. Also, Balrogs.

I can manage a fair portion of the Elder Days as long as they are not painted....

Well if where to go for a dream army. I would break the rules and take as many fully tooled up Aragorns. I think 12 in 3000 points? Meh it would break the rules but it is a dream army :P
