Slowly getting through the rest of the Goblins (about half way through) and I can't wait to get more of the monsters done! Whilst I'm not particularly fond of the Groblog's crown, I do like the model overall, and I really like the prowler models, really enjoyable to paint :)

Its always a joy and pleasure to see your alternative paint schemes Chris, I especially love the skin tones. It'd be quite scary to bump into these guys whilst walking through a dark cave

So as I continue to blast through my Goblins, I decided to paint up the beasts part of my army - starting with the Spider Queen and Swarms. The colour scheme for the spider queen was based on this image. I look forwards to using her on the table!

That is one my favourite Spider Queen colour schemes, i like it much better than mine own. The blending on the legs alone looks aewsome. :yay:

Nice spider and babies. Great colour scheme - very realistic! Should look great next to your goblin army :)

Here is the first part of my Wood Elf army. I currently have 47 of the plastic Wood Elves (can't find one), 12 of which need repainting and 24 of which need to be stripped and repainted. I also have 24 Galadhrim, all of which need basing and twelve need painting as well. Not very happy with the faces on these, but hopefully I'll improve them next time.

That is one awesome looking spider queen. It really highlights the details of the sculpt more than the studio paint scheme.

Thanks Gothmog :D Do you have a link to your Spider Queen? I'd quite like to see what colour scheme you went for (may be used as inspiration for a second Spider Queen if I get one)

Some more beasts for my army; a Wild Warg Chieftain converted from a plastic Warg, and 12 Wild Wargs. To make the chieftain, I cut off the Wargs head and cut its body in half, repositioning it slightly so it looks like Games Workshop's Wild Warg Chieftain (without the dead body on the base), and used Green Stuff for the rock and hiding the large gaps in its side. The Wild Wargs are just the standard Wargs with their body halves mixed and matched for as much variety as possible, with four different colours of Warg; dark brown, light brown, dark grey, and light grey. I plan on getting more Wargs, and adding more of each colour.
