I can almost hear the battle sounds when looking at it..

The attention to detail, adding of parts and the excellent painting make a bloody brilliant troll! Bravo :yay:

I think it looks brilliant, filthy just as a troll in the middle of battle should be.

Absolutely superb painting! 8)
It's a good thing this is fantasy and not real life or we'd all get sent to the insane asylum for enjoying the blood and gore! :-D

I really like how your Troll has come out, your painting has just clinched it perfectly. The sculpting was, and is, amazing, and you should really like it too. :yay:

Wow. Just wow. That is friggin' amazing! Now some nice Uruks with it and a block of Rohirrim to get slaughtered, and you'll have the nicest photo on earth.

Sweet. That's looking really cool. I've thought of doing something like this, but I need to finish all my khandish mercenaries first.....

Oh, and one question, what are those bases made of?

Thanks.

The bases are made out of sculpey. I cut them out using a cookie cutter method.

Great way of assembling a Mahud army at a reasonable cost. They are very effective, and the conversions help merge them into Middle-earth warriors nicely.

Thanks guys. Here's another update including some shots of some newly converted figures and some of the same ones as above. Some of the pics may not be the best quality.

Mahud Witch Doctor (counts as a shaman)

Mahud hornblower (I don't care that they aren't allowed to have horns)

Love it!
I still have a box of Unmarried Zulus standing here too (from Warlord Games). Should really get around to assembling/converting them.
This is really inspirational though! Excellent conversions. The King also looks a lot like the GW Mahud King.

The mahud king is so rich on detail and accessories that he stands out so well - a great find
