WOW! That Bilbo is terrible! The pose would look ok if he were looking in front of him, down the sword. Kinda like how he was holding Gollum off in the film scene, you know? Instead it's more like "stay back you wret - hey, a penny!"

Yeah Bilbo's legs are horrible, certainly when compared to the excellent version in EfGT. And gollum... I dunno, the pose is perhaps the best one yet, but his proportions are wrong I think. He looks like a human who hasn't eaten for weeks, but nothing more.

What's wrong with that Biblo? Nothing imo, it looks pretty good. The Gollum on the other hand looks pathetic. It does not resemble Gollum oneiotta, especially the face. it is simply horrible.

I will be ordering a loose Gollum from GW over the next couple of days since I want to use Gollum, but with a model that actually looks like him.

Bilbo's legs are most definitely too big for the rest of his body, at least by the looks of that picture. Perhaps it's the angle, but I kind of doubt it. Kind of cheeky nonetheless, counting the boat as a third model. That price is crazy; I'll keep my plastic Bilbo and metal Gollum, thanks.

I don't mind Bilbo that much, i mean he looked pretty awkward in the film in that scene to be fair as he did not know how to use a sword properly. I wonder what the boat does. It's on a base so many its an objective marker?

Maybe the legs are long to bring attention to his family's history. At the outset of the movie Gandalf said his, Uncle?, could ride a horse?

I probably have that wrong.

On second glance, the Bilbo's legs are too big, but it's still now where near as bad as Gollum who doesn't even nearly look like Gollum.

I think that Bilbo's feet seem to be too big because of the angle of the picture.

I'm buying 3 boxes of the eagles! I play High Elves in Warhammer Fantasy and would love some plastic eagles. Imo every other eagle I've seen (minus gamezone) don't look that great or aren't the right scale.

The new Rivendell elves look great too! So I'll have to pick a box of them up as well as the twins and Elrond mounted.

Overall I'm pretty happy with the new releases. (minus finecast prices)

wow Whatevier great pictures, thanks!
The elven knights looks great and elrond also, though the version on foot looks pretty similar to haldir, I'm guessing he will be around £20 with the mounted version and also finecast which is a shame.
Are the mounted elves and elrond a feburary release?

I might do a tad better as a friend wants to split the set and just keep the Dwarves and Radaghast. I'll have to look at the finecast Dwarves first though. It has been getting a lot better in quality lately.

If he gets the dwarves and radagast for half the price I'd say your paying too much for the short end of the deal :/

However, £30 for two eagles isn't half bad games workshop, compare that to £45 to 4 standard models and it sounds pretty good!
