Hello,

I just got my order from Green Dragon games in and among them are the three trolls. Now they come with the option to model them with cutlery or clubs. Does anybody with the big rulebook (with their profiles in it) know if this has any ingame influence or is it just looks? Thanks!

Nope, it is just appearance. No bonus rules are anything like that.

It's a shame that they add up to a silly point value. Would have been cool if with the fire they equalled 500pts. Not sure what to ally with them!

If you're not that good of a painter, I suggest choosing a skin tone (don't know the new gw paints) and washing it with different shades of browns. That's what I do, because highlighting skin is something I will never quite get right on big models. ;)

I have painted the skin. Nice n easy

Spray them white. Make sure its nice and flat n even.

The use Reikland Fleshshade 1 coat
Then a brown wash in the deep creases
Then reikland flesh again 1 coat. (you can skip this step if you want them lighter)
Done.

I belive you can upload them via an attachment, but I think there's a limit of 3 per post. I just use photobucket.

I couldn't get a great photo within the file size so here is a bit of a go.

Looks ok. The things I learnt was
- the model needs to be completely white before you start. no patching up after
- On the large flat areas you need to pull off any puddles.

Hey, I might try that too, it looks really good and easy.

Is Reikland Fleshshade the same colour as Ogryn Flesh?
