500pts Gondor/Arnor/Fiefdoms

Unable to sleep and still in sbg mode after painting all night, I've taken the kingdoms of men sourcebook as my bedtime read and pondered some future 500pts armies for you consideration!

500pt Gondor
W1 - Faramir (heavy armour, shield, bow)
12 x Osgiliath Veterans (12 spears, 6 shields)

W2 - Cirion
12 Warriors of Minas Tirith (6 spears, 6 shields)

W3 - Beregond
12 x Citadel Guard (12 longbows, 6 spears)

500pts Old Arnor
W1 - Arvedui
12 x Warriors of Arnor

W2 - Malbeth
12 x Warriors of Arnor

W3 - Captain of Arnor
12 x Rangers of Arnor (12 spears)

500pt Dol Amroth
W1 -Prince Imrahil (armoured horse, lance)
9 x Knights of Dol Amroth (armoured horses, lances)

W2 - Captain of Dol Amroth
12 x Men at Arms (pikes)

I guess the only thing I can accurately say is that the dol amroth force is short of numbers.

You would also do well to max out your archery, maybe by using your rangers as Blackroot vale archers (they are the same models after all).

Other than that, I think that looks like a really powerful list

I think they are three separate lists.
Anyway for your dol amroth army, ide swap out 4 piles for 4 knights on foot so you have a stonger front line.

Aye, thought the same, but no Dol Amroth force can be Dol Amroth without Imrahil and swan knights... and both are expensive points wise! So it's more theme than effect I guess

It would be a great force to ally with Minas Tirith led by lesser heroes like Beregond.

I see Faramir has his bow and shield. I thought you couldn't equip someone with both bow and shield?

I dont see the point in giving a hero like faramir both a bow and shield, he doesnt gain the defence bonus from taking the bow.

So, technically, you CAN give Faramir both bow and shield but he won't gain a +1 def?
He can only use his shield in combat then? (which would be quite odd but yeah, technically ;D)

I think you need archers in the Dol Amroth Army. Take a few BVAs?

BVA's are seen as not worth it on here. For the extra point the rule isn't all that great. I think just some regular rangers with a captain would be more advisable or even a cheap gondor hero.

Aye the Dol Amroth would be more for theme to ally with other forces. I have this wild dream of having 500pts worth of each of my favourite armies, being able to mix and match here and there.
