Wow,

So its going to be like that, eh?

Very impressive. I find feather really had to do subtle highlight but you did an excellent job. I really like the the close up on the face to show the blending and highlighting. Great job, really looking forward to seeing everyones entry's

That's a bit good that! I just have one question. Why didn't you fill the join where his right wing meets the body? It looks like there's a gap?

Thanks everyone!

And I think it's just shadow, Dave, the photo of the right side is the worst of the four...

heeeyyyy sexy eagles... :o got that damn song stuck in my head.

Very nice matt, love how you've done the eagle and the base. Tough competition already.

And seeing as my cave drake has been delayed, I may enter a giant spider if thats ok.

The flames are fantastic. You've even managed to make his breath a little less... Phallic... Than I was originally worried it would look!

Ok so my entry is almost done, I'm just waiting for some flock arriving from the States and I'll upload my proof pic and my complete pic. I said I would upload a teaser pic and give you a clue as to what i'm painting. Lol you should be able to tell from the pic. Just a WIP still some bits and bobs to finish.
