Help with the Grimhammers paint scheme.

Hey all!

I bought a box of Grimhammers, but I don't really know how to paint them. I try to stick to painting them like they appear in the movie, but the parts with the dwarves of Erebor in them, are really dark and I can't make clear which colour their ''clothes'' are. I know Games-Workshop paints them black, but it creates a quite boring mini.

Anyone has tips? I have seen some screenshots from the movie/blogs and it looks like they have a darkish brown colour.

Would much be appreciated!

He steered clear from the black scheme gw went for and I agree with you both its a bit boring. Hope this helps seeing them in a different colour. Welcome to the one ring aswell

As Green_Dragon said, harfoot did a nice job on his grimhammers. And you could also have a look at HvM's which are very inspirational: viewtopic.php?f=50&t=25152

Wow they look amazing aswell. I would thankyou for pointing them out but staring at too many pics makes me want to buy them haha
