For my sins I still have a Balrog - unassembled in it's box. I have been trying to get up the courage and have the time to do it justice. It would also be a great piece to get back into painting with.

I must upload my old Cave Troll picture to my gallery.

Love you painting, Sid - Radagast in particular is very lovely and realistic! Myself, I've given up trying to paint eyes to figures, my eyesight / hand coordination is simply not up to the task, but you seem to manage that effortlessly!

Thanks Celevue! :D My 10/0 brush really helps with the eyes :)

You should 8) He's a big, big, big model and he takes a while to paint but it makes a great centerpiece 8)

Very smooth painting Sid but I can't help but think he needs some shading to create more depth.
I agree, it's a great figure to paint.

Very crisp painting. His face is wonderful, all wrinkly and weathered as it ought to be :-D . I will disagree, I don't think he needs more shades, he is fine in my opinion.

Thanks so much for your C&C everyone! really encouraging and helping me to improve (I hope lol) :-D

I'd be interested to hear what people think of the crystal in his staff. I did some small OSL and a bit of gem painting on it but I'm not quite sure about it... Any thoughts?

The OSL looks good and a nice touch. If anything a touch more translucent would be better but a great effort.

Thanks folks :D

It's been rather busy of late and I haven't been able to get an awful lot done but here's another dwarvy that I started ages ago and only finished yesterday...

I liked GW's red-ish colours on this one but decided that it was too boring so I decided, as usual, to do it Sid-style. :-D :)

comments and criticism are most welcome 8)
Thanks for looking...

PS. I sort of decided to leave out the logo thing... it was too much hastle in the editing

@Rognarr: :lol: Ha ha Thanks mate! :)

@Dorth: on a clockface! (sorry, I couldn't resist :rofl: )
But seriously though... hobbying, studying, reading, eating and sleeping are pretty much the main stuff I do in my day and I rarely do much else in spare time really.
