Not wanting to start another discussion about GW's Finecast as on this forum and others it has been threaded to death
But I just wanted to share this...
A few days ago I optimistically placed an order with GW Direct for all the outstanding Finecast models I was missing from my The Hobbit collection to bring me up to date, some of them I've not seen in store. For those that read my reviews would know I would normally examine the models before I make any purchase, so ordering them direct made me a little nervous. Well the packaged arrived today... I'm speachless, all were near enough perfect, no wobbly weapons (
) no missing fingers or toes, not even any troubling air bubbles. All, at first inspection, seem intact, with only the minor occurrence of flash and of course the always present mold lines.
This has restored a little of my faith to Finecast...
Of course reviews will appear in the future as I start to assemble the models.
