There was actually a painting category for siege engines which had no entries so I would assume there were no siege engines in use!

Should've brought along an Uruk Hai ladder...

I have to say I am still bitter.
I actually voted for myself in that catagory(despite not entering). No one else voted so surely i should have won seige engines!

I'm sure you would have split the gates of Minas Tirith asunder with a few good kicks too. If I'd know you were in there I would have voted for you! :-)

Denethor rejected the dragons advances and as a consequence, got hurled across the board into some pasty unfluffy galadhrim who had appeared

Aye, that was a story in itself...

Basically, Denethor was hurled (I think) 5 - 7" by the dragon. End of the turn, he had to take his Broken Mind roll. And despite just having been thrown across the battlefield by a creature of pure evil and malice, he passed with flying colours!

Next turn however, he fails it. Now because the Fiefdoms list I was using didn't add up to 1000 pts I had to ally in other factions to make up the points, namely Damrod and a battalion of rangers, Denethor with his Guard of the Fountain Court, and Rumil with just two Galadhrim Warriors. Seeing that the Mad Steward could charge his noble leader, one Galadhrim leapt into the fray to distract Denethor.

Cut to the combat phase and what happens? Denethor kills the elf...

And to top it all off? Straight after that, he passed Broken Mind. As such Denethor could not plead insanity: His act was one of pure, cold-blooded murder....
