Just to confirm.....
Clansmen of Lamedon have to minus 1 on their duel roll right? but add one to their wound roll???
Do they have to use as 2 handed or do they have a choice?

They can use the sword special rules, and I'm pretty sure it specifically says in their description that they have no hand weapon.

All models unless specified as unarmed have hand weapons. Page 68ish in the hobbit rulebook.

I'm pretty sure it specifies in the description though that they only carry two-handed swords.

That's in the old rules, no such rule in the Kingdoms of Men book 8)

As said above, it no longer negates the hand weapon and the Hobbit rulebook says they count as having one unless otherwise stated.

Ergo, they have hand weapons and two-handers. So, the answer to your questions:
1) If they use their two-hander, yes.
2) They have a choice.

The hand weapon is implied. The old profile in the Gondor in Flames book stated specifically that they were otherwise unarmed. The new profile in Kingdoms of Men does not state this, ergo, they have a hand weapon.
