So Crazy, I was just looking for a good Bonsai tree this week for a similar project. Thanks for the tutorial. I'm sure you saved me a ton of grief as I put mine together (now to find the right tree).

That looks really good. A little large for the scale we use, but the building tutorial was very useful.

Im so lucky, my father does quite a lot of bonsai.
I once tried a living ent but it failed miserably,
now for a revanche with the hobbit hole.
