The Baz00ka is an AI-symbiotic weapon that responds normally only to the authorised User and sanctioned agents of the manufacturer. Unauthorised attempts to use, move or dismantle the Baz00ka result in catastrophic anti-handling mode engagement.

There is always a BOOOM!!!

I'm in for strike team at the moment and thinking of adding the zombies and the two faction extra. it's getting increasingly difficult to justify buying gw products when kickstarterprovides such value for money.

I gave up on GW a while ago and just got rid of my 40k armies as they weren't seeing any use, of course my LOTR armies are staying ;)

Me and Amy are in for Strike Team plus a full table full of mats and terrain plus all the mercs, specialists and factions.

Crucium - get thee to Kickstarter - amazing new stretch goals.
Anyone yearning for Necromunda or similar with the potential to go LARGE, I strongly advise you to have a look. There are some great looking minis on the way to Deadzone.
For example:

Hawkmen DIVE! ??
Brian Blessed Fan Club 2013! What do you think of the Faction Boosters? Those Enforcers are absolutely hardcore. The one with the shield - I can see a Leon type scenario coming up - I will write one if no-one else does.

I'm loving the design of these additional enforcers. They look brutal and I'm very tempted to load up on that faction.

I'll be getting some of those Enforcers too, either as the booster or as the bundle with either Rebs of FF (if we get them).

Deadzone KS is into the last 2 days. The stretch goals are being brushed aside like Misty Mountain goblins attempting to hld young master Gandalf and his companions from escaping. We have had Ronnie (The Rentonator) on a few times chatting to us pledgers (how often does anyone from a certain other company do that sort of thing? hmmmm...) All looking great!

Deadzone is not into what always becomes a day of utter, utter insanity - the final day of a kickstarter. Dreadball and KOW had HUGE final days, though to be honest, Deadzones first day was the single craziest of all the kickstarters I have seen so far. The game rules offer so many modes of play (including solo AI mode for lonely people like me who get damn few games of anything as the nearest club is WH40K obsessed), loads of terrain and a host of minis.
Something I have heard scores of times in the comments over there - so many people regretted missing out on the Dreadball campaign. And so many are looking forward to Warpath next year.
And on a Middle-earth note, some people (ahem!) have been using the Kings of War rules to play with their War of the Ring armies and apparently it runs much more quickly and enjoyably. So I will have to have a long hard look in that direction as well.

Well chaps wasn't that one crazy crazy crazy final hour and looks like the Enforcer Peacekeepers will make it (most excellent as I want 10 of them).

Also Amy and I got a thank you in one of the updates (I keep saying they're nice chaps):

And a well-deserved thanks too - dropping in those lists every so often was great, especially for me and my spreadsheet (roughly the size of the Pelennor). I am still wondering how to allocate the last few dollars here and there - holding some aside for Peacekeepers (oh please please please). I also hope we get a flood of concept art.
Meantime, I have a load of WH40K to dispose of :)

I know how you feel, I'm getting rid of my AT-43 Therians now but quite happy to do so with the amount of goodies that are going to be coming in.

The goodies (now quite up to date as Mantic could not keep up with the truly insane finale: http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/174 ... board-game

I completed my survey and also noted that we appear to be missing 1 figure each on the artwork and list for all starter factions except Marauders - I think they forgot the extra figure that was the $1,120,000 stretch goal. I have included 10 Peacekeepers.
And now I have to put together an enormous spread sheet of WH40K stuff I am getting rid of. By Christmas, the only GW products I will be retaining will be Middle-earth.

Update on the 'short' story. Ahem. Reread it and tweaked a few bits before emailing it to Mantic (James). All 33,837 words of it. I hope he doesn't hit PRINT before he reads the covering email. :)
