Next installment from East Grinstead Wargamers is the doubles match between Louis and I (Mordor) vs Sam and Craig (Gondor).

This battle saw both side fielding high fight value elites with a host of Shagrats Mordor Uruk Hai take on Gondor Fountain and Citadel Guard.

This was always set to be a tough battle, but who won..?

Nice report mate, there is a spelling mistake right at the start. Fairly obvious to spot.

Yup, cirion was definitely MoM. He survived well longer than expected and got a fair amount of kills. I did regret not giving my fountain court shields though, missed the extra defence.

that's what happens when you have no time to write a report but do it quick before kids pick up time!

Nice battle report mate! Just make sure you paint all models next time, that would make it legen...wait for it...dary!

One thousand points of Mordor Uruk-hai, I must say I'm very impressed.

And yes Shagrat is a killing machine against D5! But you have to see him against D3 Goblin Town Goblins

Hold Ground is by far my favourite point match, splitting warbands makes it all so much more exciting! Before the warband system where every model was placed individually, those were the days!

Not in this battle, according to the opening paragraphs he was using the captain of Cirith Ungol innit.

Nope, he was definatley the war leader version. Probably called him that for narrative.
