It's always nice to see a full army together and there are no better sights than an elven battle host.

Cheers chaps, I'm going to have to get some paint on my Fallen Dwarves soon but I'm just working on some sci-fi stuff at the moment.

Just went through your thread and it is amazing. The Easterlings look great and so do the Black Numenoreans (probably going to get some of them. Would like a tutorial on how to do the armor properly)

Do you have some shots of the finished fallen dwarves? Because I would really like to see them painted

Thanks guys, the Fallen Dwarves are near the top of my 'to do' list but I have been distracted with painting up some Veer-Myn from Mantic however I should be able to squeeze some Dwarves in before the Deadzone Kickstarter arrives.

The Black Numenoreans were painted as follows:

Black Undercoat
Heavily drybrush Shadow grey on all fabric
Light drybrush of Fortress grey on fabric
Stipple Boltgun Metal on all metal
A good wash of black (I go with the Army Painter one)
Jobs a good 'un!

As the designer and sculptor, I can't wait to see your Fallen Dwarves painted ha!

I'm about to email Anvil Industry about continuing the range with the characters and 'cool stuff', I'd rather it was all consolidated.

I'll be picking them up either way, through you or Anvil, as they're fantastically sculpted and fit right in to the LOTR armies.
I must admit I was looking over my Doctor Who minis last night (all of which need painting) but I'm going to crack on with the Fallen Dwarves next as it's been a while since I've tackled anything fantasy so it will be a nice change (and I want them completed before the new stuff is available).
Be warned though, I like your paint scheme so much I'm pretty much copying it ;)

New paint scheme for the Dwarves I've been using the last few days:

Warplocke Bronze base
Wash with Devlan mud
Extreme highlights with Runefang Steel

Looks amazing, I'll be posting pics in a week or so: just about finished the leader drummer and standard bearer.

Indeed they are, crying shame as they are such great miniatures. Saying that I'm sure Anvil will be casting up some more but if not I suspect MOTN would do a limited run?

Well it's been a long while since I had an update with some miniatures in it but as I started putting the first licks of paint on the Fallen Dwarves this week I thought it was about time. Nothing major I'm afraid though just a couple of quick wip shots:

I'm actually working on ten at a time and as these are painting up wonderfully I should have them done in a decent amount of time.

Thanks guys, I'm painting them so that they share a similar paint scheme with my Easterlings yet be they're own thing.
These really are great miniatures both in terms of sculpts and to paint up and I'm really looking forward to the range expanding (which will go hand in hand with this army expanding).
