Brilliant Paul. Some of the best work you have done.
These are very realistic, I bet Mrs H loves them !!!
The big one has some wonderful blending on it's back. All in all mate, I am mightily impressed.

Great work. Seeing them there against the older spiders has convinced me to buy one box of the new ones, and buy up a few older ones and convert the legs to the new size.

Thanks for all you kind comments, I will take a better photo in a few days when i borrow a better camera.

Something I have wanted to do for a while is take some pictures of my collection. I thought i would start with Harad.

These figures were mainly painted about 3 or 4 years ago, apart from WIP on the Mumak with green cloth inwhich i have to finish the tusks.

Mumak with War Paint

This next photo is the WIP, moved the head and made a new base -

Image

The Golden King with Abrakhan Guard, i love these figures and bought a few packs when they first came out

Painted up over 40 archers for a big game once.

Suladan The Serpent Lord, another favorite

Thanks for looking, there is some old work mixed in here so please don't be to harsh. If there is any interest I can post more of my collection.

What an amazing sight. An army that size painted to that standard. It's every hobbyists dream.

Well there's an eye opener, make no mistake. Splendid army you have there and a fantastic job on the Mumak head reposing

Not until you see a force massed together do you get the true impression of all the work that has gone into pitting them together and Paul this is phenomenal.

Everyone knows my fondness for LARGE armies. This is a visual feast! The head remodel on the mumakil is my favourite part simply because it is so well executed and it is so reminiscent of the thundering charge at the Pelennor. Very well done!

I really thing it looks good as a whole I also thing the two different color schemes on the mumuk's it makes me drawn to look to both of them.

Thanks for all your comments, as its holiday time i have been photographing some of my collection, here is my Troll army.
I think my painting and prep work has improved since the Drummer was done. Some are a few years old now.
Various plastic and metal. I do have to get around to painting the Moria Trolls sometime.

Phew, so much to like here! The Mirkwood spiders have the most atmoshperic look about them that I've seen to date and the Harad army has a nice, varied palette but still looks cohesive as a whole. Big kudos here.

Ow yes, I can totally imagine that bunch coming through the gates of Minas Tirith! So much charater in the paintjob, sublime, just that :).

Regards,
Mortaal

Super work you've done on the troll's armour- looks really battered and weathered.
