hey i got a quick question. When leaping across a gap, what if there is another (enemy) model there at the place you want to leap to, or if its close by (for instance that you woudnt fit completly or would enter its control zone)? I came acorss this while playing the second senario from the booklet that came with the goblin town starter set, the scenario where you have to get the bagage. Thanks!

This is how I have always interpreted it.
You can fight the combat as normal (if you pass your jump test) but if you lose or fail to kill the model you're attacking you fall as you didn't clear the space. I know with the changes to barriers this may not be correct anymore

I actually had the same question. What if a model is behind a barrier (for example a small fence) without actually defending it. The attacking model can approach, since the defender does not have an extended control zone, yet due to the opposing model being at the other side, the attacker will be unable to jump across. How will this situation be resolved?

I would have thought that if there's no room for your model, you can't jump.

However, I have assumed that you can jump as part of a charge move, so you can jump right in to someone's control zone, provided you can jump right in to base to base contact with them.

The way I would play it, is to let the model perform a jump test, and on a 2+ it can leap across and charge the enemy.

If it wins the fight, the enemy is pushed back. If it loses, it is pushed off the edge.

But if there isn't enough room for the model to land on the opposite side of the ledge?

Or if there is enough room, but you end up in the control zone of a model there? Although I guess you just coudn't leap then.... same a s with moving.
