That looks great, especially seeing all the minis and terrain together. The throne is more impressive than I thought (you can tell I have not looked at it closely yet even though I have had one for a year now :()

Haha thanks! And yes I thought the throne was going to be a bit boring till I finished painting it now its one of my Favorite pieces. It took me just over a year to finish the whole set.

Haha I snapped the deal as soon as I saw it. These models cost $145NZD together here in New Zealand and I got them for $50NZD. Which my Mum and girlfriend still think is a waste of money haha can never win with them.

Great job finishing the EFGT set. That is a lot of work. I may never get around to my dwarf party.
Keep up the great work.

Thanks :) You should really get your dwarfs finished. I find after painting the characters I notice more about them in the movies.

Yeah, I will someday, They always look fantastic. but, after converting and painting Isengard, Mordor, Fallen realms and Moria, Goblin Town, and working now on Hunter Orcs, I have come to know... in the story of SBG, I am a villain.
I have enough good forces painted up to bring to matches if I need them, so they (all the other good models) can hang in my back log a while longer.

Well done on the bargain hunt! When anyone slags me about spending money on my hobbies (of which Middle-earth is but one), I simply say each to their own. I know so many people who have frittered money away on harmful or ridiculous things - in some cases their 'addictions' actually killed them (not joking).
As for the painted Gollums - I like all of them.

Good stuff! The Gollums are great! Is one of them from the "Captured by Gondor" set?

Hey Thanks I also brought another Gollum from The Hobbit set with him in a boat and holding a fish (Will be one of my next models to paint).

I think the middle Gollum is from the Captured by Gondor set but I got it as a single model from a friend.
