Hey guys, I have a heap of topless guys to paint, which means lots of skin showing. What is the most speedy yet effective way of painting skin? And yeah I'm talking about white men here.

I want these guys done quickly as I have way too many minis to paint and also my girlfriend wants to help me and I don't want her to lose interest if it takes too long.

Thanks gang!

I don't know the names of the new paints, only the older ones, but I'd go with: Undercoat Tallarn Flesh, Wash Ogryn Flesh, Highlight a mix of Tallarn Flesh/Elf Flesh, with amounts varying depending on preference.

Thanks man! I was considering to do a wash as it is easy and quick. The only flesh colours I have are tanned flesh, dwarf flesh and elf flesh. (I am using the relatively old paints)

How about if I did a basecoat of dwarf flesh, a wash of watered down tanned flesh mixed with a lottle scorched brown and then a highlight of dwarf flesh mixed with elf flesh and then a final highlight of elf flesh?

Or I could just paint it tanned flesh, highlight in dwarf flesh then highlight in elf flesh.

I'd say either would work.
For the second option, I'd make the second highlight be a mix of Dwarf Flesh and Elf Flesh instead of pure Elf Flesh, but it depends on how tanned you want the guys to be.

Not very tanned. The models are ancient germans whom I am using for dunlandings. They will probs look the best if they are on the paler side.

Base coat of Dwarf Flesh, wash with watered down bestial brown, reset the base colour with dwarf flesh, highlight with Elf Flesh.
