Lol have you throw your gold paint out the window yet? I just see a scene like when Russel Crowe throws his desk out the window in "A Beautiful Mind" if you've ever seen it

Looking forward to it, I feel like I'm a shareholder in those minis now! :-D

Can't believe the way this poll has gone, I was thrilled when I saw it, 4 of the 5 options could easily have fit into my painting plans for next month and the only one that didn't was…warbands! I've Given a vote to the Istari as they're the next closest, I'm hoping for a second half of the poll surge!

Otherwise I'll have to try and get my Mirkwood Rangers done, don't see it happening though! Ah well, good luck all!

Dr Grant we could do the same as last time and add a rule to say that a 4 hero strong warband is acceptable if that helps?

and the gold was 100% perfect. 43 shields completed with it. Spot on mate much appreciated.

Would models already painted be an eligible entry if the end product is a completely different paintjob?
I have some warriors of Rohan that I painted 8-9 years ago, and I now want to revamp them; no colors will remain the same, and they will receive new bases.

Thanks for your reply DeadMarsh, I appreciate it. Now it's time to decide on the type of bases they will have.

Hey all.... been a very long time, but when better to return than at the start of a new month of painting competition? Looks like the warbands will prevail, and at the risk of choosing some minis that have been overused to date, I've a large group of unpainted Uruks that are pleading to come alive. Therefore, I will be submitting my band of Isengard Uruks with Lurtz.

So then, is it 4 mounted or 8 on foot in the band with Lurtz included, is that the rule?

Looking forward to some extra motivation to get back to work on my minis.

Its either 4 mounted models or 8 foot models, must include at least one hero. If people would like another option of an all hero warband then 4 ft or mtd heroes will be acceptable as an entry too. up to you guys.

Good to have you in the challenge TheEverPilgrim.

Yeah that would be great, it's certainly shaping up to be another month of hero painting for me so that works - they won't be from one army list though (i.e. not Fellowship or Thorin's Company) so it will literally be 4+ Good heroes, presumably that's ok under the non-legal ruling?

Looking forward to getting involved again having sat the last one out.
