All right, I'll finally post some of my works here!

Let's start with my latest project: a mounted Knight of Umbar conversion so I could use him on a Fell Beast! This was a very ambitious idea, since I had never used green stuff to heavily convert a model like this before, but I'm definitely satisfied with the result. The model I chose to convert was the old mounted version of Faramir, because his White tree armour could well remind of the Knight's Numenorean origins. I had to remove his head and find a more Numenorean-looking one (sculpted by a member of our italian forum), then modify it to make it resemble that of the original Knight of Umbar. Then I sculpted the Nazgul's robes leaving part of the armour visible. Once finished, I had to hastily paint him because I needed him ready for a tournament I attended Yesterday

Here are some pics of the various steps:

And here's the finished model! Hope you like it :)

A very effective conversion! I have always intended to make a Fellbeast riding version for each of the named Wraiths, but it is a very long way down a very long list of things I have to do.

Cool conversion. He looks really good and is recognizable as the Knight of Umbar.

That is really a nice idea and surely well executed! I just find the front of the helmet a bit too "bulky".

This looks great and is a brilliant idea! The only thing you might want to add is some green or orange fire to the blade (like the Witch-king miniature), just to add a little contrast from the blacks and greys to make the knight stand out. Other than that, keep up the great work!

A great conversion, looks very much like the KOU, would never have thought of using Faramir, well done :yay:

Nice - I hadn't thought of it but could just use an elendil head instead of sculpting, so thats cool. well done.

Thanks everyone! Yeah I agree on the helmet, that's the only part I think I could've done better.

Now I'd like to show you an older conversion, a very simple one. I wasn't confident at all with green stuff at the time so I didn't even use it..! After buying the Cataphracts boxed set I was really amazed by the amount of bits it had and immediately converted an Easterling Warrior into a Captain by using the Cataphract Captain's head, arm and cloak. Here's the model:

Again a nice conversion, I've done something similar myself.
