How do we count a Warg Marauder? I bought one, my only miniature of the month on the last day of the month.

One thing I will say is that I absolutely despise those old Fall of the Necromancer Wood Elves. Horrible sculpts, even the old GW 'Eavy Metal team could only do so much with them.

Respect! 81! I am dead impressed.

I actually beheaded many of those plastic elves and replaced their heads with Prince August Wood Elf faces. They improve things quite a bit. When my current project is done, then its off to make use of those self same wood elves...

Years ago, I gave a few of them plastic High Elf helmeted heads in place of their own. I liked it better that way, but apparently still didn't like them well enough to paint; they sat undercoated or just basic grey for about 3-4 years.

I also finished the Goblin King and pimped my goblins, but the goblins were already painted, more or less. I've also mostly painted 12 Uruk Berserkers but I couldn't call them finished just yet.
April will be Uruk Hai month again!

Due to the disappearance from GW store of Eorl the Young and ruffians, both of which were to be part of my next purchase, I panic bought a load of the remaining metals I need for my collection. I just put the finishing touches on and based 16 more minis; 12 Fighting Uruk-hai and 4 Isengard Orcs. That brings me to 28 painted for the month so far.

The painting desk is swimming with filthy Orcs and Uruks in various states of completion. I'm batch painting the metal on all of them and the skin on all the Uruks before breaking them into smaller batches for straps, cloth, washes, etc. Gonna be a big month if I ccan get everything done.
