So reading through the rules lately, I came to notice that Gandalf the White doesn't have Sprcerous Blast, whereas his previous guise as Gandalf the Grey has.

Knowing that Gandalf the White is more powerful than his earlier guise, would it not be suitable to give him Sorcerous Blast? But in saying that, he does have Break Staff which has replaced it. A just as powerful and potent magical power.

I believe removing this magical power is to create a more supportive model, like how Gandalf the White is in (such as during the siege of Minas Tirith) rather than an offensive magical attack. What do you lot think?

With an immobilize of 2+, I'm not worried about sorcerer's blast. Immobilize the baddy then mutilate the villain with a hero. Yea!

Hadn't really considered that affect. I do believe the Grey guise had the same ability, but with a higher score to cast.

That is correct sir, gandalf became an immobilizing machine, but it sounds like his sorc blast improved too. Gandalf mounted using his immobilize is a powerful combination. At a 2+ you can take confidence you'll succeed and use his free will each turn without depleting your will store in order to freeze lesser foes. However, should you target a big bad, i recommend spending some extra will to ensure you hit hard and immobilize.

I've said it once, and I'll say it again. Gandy the white on a horse combined with osgiliath boromir gives you a winning combo. Use gandalf to jump forward, immobilize, then fall back. Follow that with a charge from boromir. He'll be def 7 so way hard to kill, and if he gets swarmed he can use his horn.
