I've never sold something on ebay before, but doesn't ebay take some of the money you get or something?

they take 10% of sale cost and now the P&P cost, aslo a listing fee if the amount is 99p or more for the opening bid. Paypal also take a smaller cut.

Also something you don't see daily, massively overpriced even by modern ebay standards:

Wow! I really hope there's no impatient soul out there who cannot stand the temptation. That's not just overprized anymore...

that also bugs me a tad, people who are buying up the pre orders and selling them for an extortionate price. its just depriving some one who may really want one in order to make a quick buck! just as bad as people who buy up gig tickets and sell them double the price.
but anyway more on subject there is an interesting unreleased model on ebay.

Starting bid of 0.99 and no shipping indicated beyond the UK, that may well have ended worse than it is now. Suspect it will keep going and probably still become profitable - I'll keep watching it...
The UK RRP was £295, right?

No reserve as well.

Would be interesting to watch if it still becomes profitable. I reckon there will be quite a bit of bidding on it on the final moment. Seeing how he won't be available through GW for some time, this might be a not too often occurring chance to get a not utterly overpriced Smaug at this time. That will attack bidding people and drive the price up. We'll see.
