Hi all. Was thinkig about using Khamul again an read his rules and just wanted to check something. "The will of evil" states that: at the end of the fight the ringwraith loses a point of will. "The essence leech" rules states that Khamul regains a point of will instantly when he wounds an enemy. Does this mean tha Khamul still loses a will point at the end of the fight phase since he regains them "before" that step?
For example, Kmaul has 10 will and is in combat. In the combat he scores 1 wound and instantly goes up to 11 will. Then at the end of the combat he loses a will and therefore goes down to 10 will?
Is this correct?
Have fun slaktarn

No, it clearly states in the essence leach rule it cannot be used to take his will above his starting value (AKA 12).

Yes your example is correct and this can never take his will above 12 which is also it's starting number. However looking at the rule it clearly states that this happens whenever he causes a wound... not just in close combat, meaning that if he expends 1 point of Will to cast Black Dart and succeeds (unlikely though) and wound the target then he gains the Will point back!
