For me it was very close between three people. I'm not sure who to vote for. I'll think about it and do it later. :-)

Very close but I think Bombur77 deserves it.

Really cool paint work

Bombur's Elf for me this month. NMM without looking gimicky, which is hard to do. Nice restraint. Lots of skill. For such simple minis they often come out bad. Gandlaf's Haldir would get my number 2, and Valpas 3 for the freehand and skin tones.

JR i was going with yours but then I saw Frog's Celeborn, and he is just that bit cleaner and better balanced. Aranel was my 3rd. NMM ones look good, but have elements that clash, as does Valpas' model, great freehand, I just don't like the contrast :(

My vote goes absolutely to Gandalf the gray with his Haldir, very nice, painted with attention to detail and with a nice scenic base.

Thanks Bombur and likewise with my vote for you. I was hoping my NMM could have pushed you this month. Mind you it's my first attempt at it so I will improve.

Gandlaf for me, without a doubt.
Special mentions: Bombur's NMM is looking really very nice indeed, and the scene is also very nice although in detail i think the actual mounting of the base is a little on the untidy side- exposed glue, etc.
Then I have to say something about Valpas- love the freehand, and a beautiful paint job for fine cast, which is hard to get looking really good. I would have liked to see more photos of this one. Great work.

Well done everyone! A fantastic month of high quality work throughout. My vote was an easy decision, but the pack was hot on Gandlaf's heels nonetheless! Some great stuff here.

Gandalf for me.
I do like Blue Dragon's Galadriel. The face is nicely done, very subtle and the blue in her hair is a daring touch, nicely done.

Fantastic work by all :yay: :yay: Brilliant freehand by Pasi, but I went with Gandalf. A stunning looking Haldir!

I had to vote for gandalf's haldir, it's well done all around especially for a first attempt at nmm :yay:
Bombur77's elf is also well done, I really like the colors you chose for the armor, it looks great 8)
I also thought Blue Dragon did a good job this month too, just an overall good job. I like the blue in the hair as well, it's interesting in a good way.
Good job to all the contestants!

Between Haldir, elven archer and Celeborn, three wonderful works, I chose Haldir and my decision is based on the quality of colour's tone.

Tough choice, well done all, now to go away and think...

several minutes later....

Voted for Gandalf, mainly for the brilliant base, i like Bomburs figure but the base covers to much of that lovely painted Elf.
