Hey guys, I just wanted to see what some of you had to say about this 1000pt list and howit might fair.

I got the idea of including the drummer for the faster movement so as to perhaps outmaneuver from the part in the movie where Gandalf says "Azog means to cut us off". I could swap the Shaman for a whole bunch of Fell Wargs to keep it more themed but I think he'd offer quite a lot to the orc heavy army.

All I have to say in my initial thought is I think youd be better served to only have Azog OR Bolg not both. Youre going to have a tough time competing against any non themed armies.

Ive said it before...its not all about competition but it starts to become unfun when you can be outnumbered by even Elves for example who beat you on bows, fight, and courage. Or Dwarves of the same.

Id say remove Azog, make it Bolgs force, and add another captain and warriors.

Thanks for the advice. I do agree, having Azog and Bolg together definitely bring my numbers a tad too low (no matter how beast they are). So taking all that into account I've come up with this list.

This boosts my numbers up to just over 50. Bat swarms to give some nice F/V sapping threat and being nice and themey. Warg Marauders are a little ode to the book, plus being nasty pieces of work and some fell wargs to be some deployment drops and perhaps for Druzhag to enrage them for them to do some one time big damage. The fluff for Druzhag could be that he's the one who trained the bats for war and commanding them or some such.

Anyway, thoughts?

This list I like a lot. I'd not be able how to tell you to play them animal part of them but I like then addition and the upped amount of troops.
