I have twice this model
Image

And I would like to convert the 2nd so that they will not seem the same in my army.

Any ideas? Post some examples if you have! Thanks :)

I can't remember how well attached the spear is to the model, if you have skill with greenstuff to resculpt armour where the spear is currently you could attempt to reposition the spear so he is thrusting it forwards with both hands.
Another option would be holding the spear upwards in the air, or a headswap with another metal goblin if you have any available, I think he'd look quite good with a mail hood rather than his helmet.

For the first option: that's actually a good idea. But yeah the spear is much of it attached so it would be very surgical. Also he may seem like a spearman :P

I don't currently own any of those metal goblins. But the idea for head swapping is what I am aiming for. For orc is easy to choose but for goblins is restricted, that;s why I am asking for opinions.

Change the spear to a staff and put a skull at the end? Or a dwarf head/helmet?

Yes and maybe flaming to fit even better the mage concept. But the spear is difficult to be removed. It is a bad pose to convert honestly :(

Maybe that was the best. I shall convert it into this if I won;t learn something better. Finally what have you done in your own?

There is a second Moria Goblin pose. Its OOP but you can find it on eBay (albiet usually for significantly more than the more common pose you already have). Other than that, you are really stuck removing the spear from his left hand to create any sort of significant conversion.

I am hunting to buy it for months now, but I don't want to spend the money they ask. I consider em insane.

I had a go at this Goblin Shaman as well. I did a headswap and gave him the sword of another gobbo.
I still have to do some sculping, but I'm all out of Greenstuff at the moment

Really nice idea there, I hadn't even considered it. Did you pop the head and arm onto the other gobbo?

As a matter of fact I did! But unfortunately I don't have a picture yet. And even more unfortunate my goblins are at my mom's place while I went back to the university
I will post pictures one day in my big book ;)
