A real pleasure to paint, and built from one of GW's best plastic LOTR sets. So many options and extra bits. Worth every penny!

They look great! I agree that they are beautiful figures!
If I were you though, I would apply a black wash to make them stand out even more! It will bring out the details and shadows better and it'll look great with your dark bases!

Nice clean work on them (and they are such a nice kit to work with, the conversion possibilities alone are almost worth the cost). I would echo that a brown or black wash would work wonders on them and help give them some extra definition.

I used a brown wash. I don't like black washes so I don't expect to use a black wash. At least, not all over. Maybe on the tails.

Nice paintjob! Simple, yet effective!

I see some people suggesting to use washes so I'd like to reply to that too.
I'd suggest 'Seraphim Sephia' from Citadel Paints to wash the armour. It does wonders for gold armour and is, in my opinion, much better than brown or black washes on the armour.

I used sepia on the gold. Apparently I need to use heavier washes. Thanks for the feed back everyone :)

Awesome man. Right now Im lucky enough to own around a dozen metal of those!

Metal or plastic though, these are some of my favorite units in the game. Looks wise I mean.

Yours look off to a nice start.

What all comes extra in the box? Never bought a new one.

Enough to make three riders. Two captains, two drumers and two banner bearers. Minus the horses, there are only six horses
