Love the Iron Hills Command, don't know if I'll bother with the ogres - I never liked the look of them. Their appearance always seemed to me better suited to Narnia/Harry Potter style fantasy.

Ogres cost 28 pounds. Dwarf command costs 20. The Alfrid model is 12 pounds.

I agree with Necromancer7. I'll likely proxy the Mierce miniatures trolls for my ogres.

nope

My guess will be:

Gundabad Troll £50
3 Goat Riders £25
3 Iron Hills Dwarves (mattocks, shield, spear) £12

Nice. That's not too bad. Trolls are a lot but one or two isn't too out there.

personally I would like to have them loose that way you can buy dwarves with mattocks as well as extra spear dwarves so you dont have to buy in multiples of 12

Why share the load? IT WILL BE MINE, MY OWN, MY PREEECIOUS!

But seriously my collection bases its numbers on what is needed for scenarios and insane things like one loose warg for every possible dismounted one :D

So yes I have 240 orc warriors (sadly not all in metal) to be able to play the original last alliance scenario and stuff like that.

But I suspect I can wait a bit to buy so many, I bought 2 ogres and I need 4 so I'll chuck those in when I am able to in the future.

Dwarf Command is up for preorder. Strangely no sign of ogres.

Uff, but they're expensive! :O

20 Pounds for a command group is really much compared to the 40 pounds for a 12 man warband. :(

I actually think it’s a pretty good deal. I can spend $20 for a single commander (e.g., Young Dwalin). When I factor in the exchange rate I can get a dwarf capt plus banner for $24.69. That’s not too bad for an extra guy.

Agreed. I think £20 is a decent price in Games Workshop/Forge World terms.
