Hi Folks,
It's been ages since my last post, here. After painting shown above Dweller, I took a break in hobby for many reasons , which were consuming successfully any spare time of my life. Additionally, I realized that I need to make some investment in showcase for figures, as I had no free shelf or space at home to put my painted models or dioramas.
Fortunately, things look better now and I can seriously think about coming back to our LoTR & Hobbit world
Glass made showcase has been bought last month, Led lights installed and now I only need to hang it on the wall and start filling in with stuff:

What is referring restart of hobby, I decided for risky "high jump into an ocean" without any warm up done with smaller or easier challenge.
I want to make an diorama with scene named "Attack on the Weathertop" from Fellowship of the Ring movie.
The truth is that for many years I was thinking about this one and all because of seen for my own eyes a superb OOP ForgeWorld Amon Sul ruins.
As all we know, these are not available anymore and can be found only on auctions for crazy money, so I try to build my own piece with reasonable budget.
I've collected many pictures of FG model, documented parts included in set and I found also a great tutorial made by guy nicknamed "Dagorlad" some years ago, which will be my the most comprehensive guide for this project.
OK...after (too) long intro

, let me show the first steps made yesterday.
I have created a base plan in CAD program to determine best size for diorama:

Here are all collected actors of the scene (Strider - Aragorn with Torch - is still in bag, not assembled).

First cut made in depron plate - an inner circle of temple.
In next step, I did a thin layer of sculpt modelling paste on it, to make realistic floor cuts.

Here are final results after clay is dried. Additionally, I have sprayed whole surface with Woodland Scenic Cement for "concreting" the structure and easier painting.

Next step will be stairs...progress to be reported during weekend (I hope).
