The rams seem to be unique but they might have 3 bodies and some options on bits to add so they are put together differently.

I suggested in the video the dragon base, of course I meant smaug :D

But yes Keith have confirmed 170x105mm

Does anybody know how big Thranduil's deer (yes, it's a deer called Megaloceros giganteus, which is also known as the Irish Elk, but still belongs to the species of deer) is compared to a normal horse?

If anybody already has him, please post a side by side comparison, I'd be really interested in that.

Also, does anybody have an idea of what the next releases might be? Will there be even more Iron Hills? Will they release an Armored Mirkwood Banner Bearer or are there any other rumors about new (Mirkwood) miniatures?

According to the Warhammer Community site, the Iron Hills Chariot is being released soon. I expect that will be the next release. See the details at https://www.warhammer-community.com/201 ... dle-earth/

Hopefully the chariot will be released in time for warhammer fest this month

not really convinced by these new versions of our favourite dwarfs ... the faces seem less resembling ... a version of Kili with a bow would have been a good idea, but it is not even the case :-(

That will give us four versions of Thorin's company if you count the dwarves in the barrels.

and still there is not a single pose of Kili with the Bow in his hands.

That aside, I don't like those models very much, it seems to me that there is something wrong with their faces.

This counts for a lot of miniatures of the Hobbit range but it is almost always a result of the paint job from what I've seen. Very often I was suprised how well the faces looked when I opened a blister. Not saying at all that the studio quality is bad but there seems to have been a decline over the years (especially considering the faces).

The best thing about the delayed company release is we will get them in Forgeworld resin rather than finecast.

Not sure we needed another Gwaihir. Troll brute is ok. First time I've not been that excited about a FW release. Will still have to buy them both though.

tbh I love painting eagles... so will prob get this one as my 6th!? I'm really pleased that the troll brute comes with both 'crew' options instead of separate models ; can't wait to add these to my collection :)

I think the new Gwahir is fantastic. Was it needed? Hardly. But it is great!

Absolutely love that Gwaihir! How playable do you think he will be? The troll, while cool, is just too morbid for my display case. I'm glad he got released for all the fans who wanted one in their collection. I'm just going to proxy it for any scenarios.

Ditto. After 15 years with this game, this will be the Gwahir I get.

Yeah, I was horrified the PJ would put that guy in the movie. Just ridiculous. But it is what it is. I’ve been thinking of ways to customize one that wouldn’t be so un-Tolkien, but will probably just get this one.

I just wish they had an option for non-peg legs.

Yikes the chariot is £100 its currently up for preorder. You know I've not being playing LotR as long as most, maybe 7-8 years but its extremely disheartening when something you love goes away, and then comes back. But not for you, for people who can afford it. :(

The chariot is up for pre-order. This model looks amazing, especially with the captain!
I'll have some saving up to do, 100 pounds seems fair though.
