Hello All,

After years of wanting to get around to painting some LoTR guys I have finally gotten around to it! Thought I would toss up a few pictures.

I have found that the img tags don't seem to work as well with Google photos as they did with photo bucket. But I am not sure what to do about that?

Anyway thanks for the comment! Going to try out a game this evening.

Thanks;
Mike

The trick is to right click on your image - then select "Copy Link Location"

Then when posting here, use the "Img" button which creates the image tags.

Between the img and /img ones paste the link.

When you preview and post the image it should work!

Good job!

Are you using the thinner Renedra bases rather than the GW ones?

Ya Renedra all the way I find the thinner ones look better, and I put a self adhesive magnet under them and it is easier with the flat ones. I really like the cobble bases also, but they don't have the right size for mounted which is a problem.

Got a bit ore painting done, another Isengard warband this time with a Captain and the rest of the command. Didn't see any rules for the drummer on a quick look so not sure about that, I think the 4 guy command sets were more made for War of the Ring? Not really sure. But looks really cool anyway.

Nice work.

There is a preview option i think when you are posting so you should be able to see the post before making it.

These are fantastic.

May I ask, why do you put a magnet under the base?

That's how I store and carry them around, I have a plastic box with metal in it, so with the magnet I just put the in and they stay put. I find it better them foam as it can save space and long thin things like pikes don't break as easy. Works great for me.

Thanks for the comments!
