The 4 x paralysed hobbit figures that come with the Fog on the Barrow Down set all look very similar - at least the ones I have do. 2 are distinctly different in terms of the veiled faces, and there seems to be a duplicate of the 3rd/4th one. Can anyone tell me which is supposed to be which hobbit? Nothing is marked on the miniatures themselves. Thanks.

Bump.......

Plenty have looked at this Q, but no comments / answers. I have 7 figures of the Paraysed Hobbits, which includes 2 sets of 2 the same and 1 x 3 the same. Is this as produced by GW? Or should there be a 4th figure as well? Grateful for any input.

Saw this post a while back, but I was genuinely stumped...also guessing that others who saw it may be stumped as well..

Maybe do a Google Image search for the Original Box that the set came in, and then save the pic, zoom in, and try to spot any differences ?

Good luck and let us know if you uncover any answers to this mystery !

:)

When I have trouble figuring out what/who a figure is, I look at the collectors guide

To me, the Pippin and Merry figures look the same.

Thanks guys: looking more closely at the available pics etc, it does look as if there are indeed 2 very similar (if not exactly the same) figures within the set of 4.

In answer to my own original Q: Hobbits 3 / 4 do indeed look very similar but differ in terms of (a) the folds of the gown run in different directions at the bottom; and (b) they have differing numbers of gemstones/rings on their fingers. No way of telling, I believe, which of the 4 figures is supposed to represent which hobbit - unless anyone can provide that info. Thanks everyone.
