Absolutely stunning mate. I am really a fan of your, to tell the truth :) So many details... How long does it actually take you to finish a batch like that? At this level, of course :)

Klemzy, thanks man I'm glad you like my work. It took just over a week to paint this batch which I considered quite slow but it was a tough batch as the detail on these plastics is a little soft in places.

Thanks Garmenhord, lots more updates to come.

Any painting tips? Trying to amp up my painting. Trying to not blend, as it makes replicating harder(say I order another batch of the same unit later on, and want it to look like I painted them the same way). Thanks! Love the art!

Blending doesn't make it harder to replicate if you make a note of what colours you used.
A quick way to achieve a basic brown warg without mixing colours is basecoat entire warg with vallejo game colour (VGC) Beasty brown then wash with brown wash. Highlight with VGC Leather brown then again with VGC Khaki. the head and legs really do need to be a mix of paint tho as often a lot of the greys available are too light so i mix a little black in with VGC Cold grey for these parts. Hope this helps and thanks for your comment.

Thanks for the comments.

Next up is an update from the Forge World and specialist games open day golden demon competition. I managed to take home the bronze demon in both Middle earth single miniature and also in the Unbound category.

Big shout out to all other winners and finalists - some really awesome stuff on display.

Saw news of your demons on Facebook so would be rude not to swing by and pass on my congratulations! Excellent entries in both categories and they definitely deserve the recognition they got.

Amazing work again DMS.. all the attention to all the little bits and pieces is stunning..

The only thing I dont like 100% (in contrast to about 10,000 things that are awesome), is the blue in the banner.. I think it's too bright and it kinda focuses the eye where it shouldnt.. also kinda breaks the more "muted" or "realistic" approach of the other colours, with it's vibrant/magic look..

Still wish I could paint like that and grats again!
I hope you get the gold next year!

Remarkable work. As great as the diorama is, I think I like the single dwarf the best. The patterning is excellent and the whole color scheme is very eye-catching. Really great pieces both.

Amazing work Kev...that single Dwarf might be the best painted miniature that I've ever seen - no exaggeration. The shield and the cloak are both incredible, and the entire model is flawless.

Congrats on the award, and please continue to share your talent with us here on the site - it's a continued source of inspiration for me, and I'm sure that it is for many others as well...

Thanks for the comments guys.

Thanks Jake - appreciate it mate.
@Whatevier - funnily enough that banner was painted for a different piece altogether and was never intended to go on this diorama.
@Gangleri - Thanks buddy
@Ja33 - Thanks for the kind words. Don't worry lots more updates coming up.

Great work as always! I also really like the dwarf, the checkered pattern is very well done! I also like the freehand on the back, it's very neat and consistent and is just a cool design.
Good job, and congratulations! I'm sure you'll take home the gold next year!

Good stuff Kev....went to your site to see the full range of pics, and they're all awesome. i especially liked the Uruks carrying Hobbits, as I thought that the cloaks and faces on the hobbits are outstanding.

And as always, thanks for sharing !

Thanks for the comments guys. Next up is Boromir captain of the white tower and a citadel guard banner which was converted by the client. It was hard work replicating the banner design 4 times. As usual there are more pics up on the website. Boromir COTWT & Guard
