Just a fun little project/diversion.

Built some of the stairs at the tower of Cirith Ungol.

Image

Used some pumice on the sides to break up the standard Hirst Arts block look

Image

Scraped the stairs to give them a more worn look

Coming up the stairs (more of the movie version vs book)

Our hero Sam

Figure of Sam and Sting from the Frodo model from the Mines of Moria set

Skillet moved to the back, sausages trimmed off, packs from Victoria Miniatures (might remove the bottom two, he wasn't that big of a pack horse)

Very nice! I can tell you like Sam, what with the quote and excellent paint job.

Thanks, I do like Sam but that is far from an excellent paint job. Redid some photos in greyscale - they just seemed better that way.

Looks great once again! :yay: The little Sam conversion is also nice and effective. Would be fun to play a small scenario with him (two Attacks because of two swords, and with Sting!).

How would that work? 1 S2 hit and 1 S3 hit?

Feanor - trust me, I thought about building the stairs higher for the fight on the stairs but I really just wanted a small project (this time)

This side of the stairs I didn't use pumice on, showing the standard Hirst Arts bricks.

For example. Just use two different coloured dice. :)

I can imagine, it's nice to have a little project that you can finish every once in a while. Starting and dreaming up projects is way easier than finishing them, I find.
