Early Christmas present(s) to myself - bought off Ebay Battle Games in Middle Earth issues 1-78 (magazines only, no figures), Two Towers and Return of the King editions for $2.07 per issue. Seller even had free shipping on over 19lbs of magazines.

Know what I will be reading for awhile.

Have extra copies of some issues now, will have to see which are in the best condition and put some up for trade.

Oh, how wonderful. You'll have lots of reason to stay inside by the fireplace this winter.

I got an early gift as well. I have a German Shepherd puppy! This week, I put all of one basecoat on a figure. Looks like the Ruffinas might be ready to go in the spring...

I got a good couple of buys on ebay:

The better Halbarad w/ banner sculpt
Faramir and Damrod that just need some paint stripping

I treated myself to the Gondor heroes from FW too.

Wife got me the orcs from Forgeworld and War in Rohan, son got me some paints, all good.

Of course I treated myself to ebay also, needed some figures for an conversion I have in mind.

Got a 1000 piece puzzle of one of John Howe's works along with a nice LOTR themed bookend.
