This is a really great article for the gamers out there.
Many of us spend too much time on our minis, adding umpteen highlights.

What you have done here is demonstrate an effective technique, using only one highlight stage for most areas, that still creates a great looking mini. This is the sort of guide that should help anyone get Aragorn painted for their army, quick and easy. I need to learn to relax and paint like this, and actually get an army painted!

Nice clear photos to boot make this a pleasure to read. I like the clean, smooth, simple flow of the guide. It's a no mess, no fuss, get the job done guide. I keep getting bogged down when painting. This makes me feel it can be free and easy. I really like that. :)

I reckon Tobold has said everything I could want to but in a more eloquent fashion. A well illustrated no-nonsense practical article - may come in handy for some people with backlogs (cough-splutter).

Very good article, great pictures make following the whole process of painting easy and pleasurable. Perhaps your method is not the most sophisticated, but it cannot be denied that the final result is very nice!

Seconded. Good article with short precise descriptions and nice step-by-step pictures so at everybody can paint Aragorn rather quickly himself with good results.
(And feeling encouraged then maybe develop the ambition to start drybrushing or highlighting the coat or painting again with two or three brown mixes, etc. Pro Figures show exactly that standard at some stage, they are only a further development in tiny degrees)
