Ukfreddybear any idea when you'll have your next shipment of the Birch Tree Giant for sale?

hello,

got mine yesterday but picked it up today - first off the packing material it was shipped was 10/10 for protection and quality. then the Blister is also very nicely made and i like it very much. i like the idea of the color guide to assemble it with i found it very easy and laying the parts out before makes it easer. the model itself is very nice!!! only one small gap for me and no mold lines and flash. though i pinned both the arms just to make sure :) so overall i give it a 9.9' out of ten - as i find nothing in this world is perfect and space for improvement should always be left

so thank you once again for making/sell this tree gaint and may i suggest you name your big bear model the majestic bear or even ukfreddybear for that matter

Bolger

Bilbo, it will be about two weeks I'm told. Normally I would have them in about one week, but unfortunately the casting company I use is currently moving premises, which has delayed the next shipment somewhat.

Bolger, enjoy the model. That's not a bad idea naming the Bear after the company or myself. Dunno why I didn't think of it!

A slight update for everyone who's interested: Majestic Bear Miniatures is almost ready!

Still there's some delay, we have some minor problems with the Hosting Company. We got the polite notification that it will be solved 'soon' - whenever that may be. So, it's not the end of May, but it will be somewhere at the beginning of June afterall - one off these days!

Please note that once opened the site won't be in perfect condition, there might be some things to solve/tune and we haven't got much time (I'm in the middle of my exams at University) but I think you all will be pleased with Dave's site.

Eyes fixed on www.majesticbear.com !

Quite right Potty. The site will be relatively empty at first but I will soon flesh it out a bit with some nice articles!
I just can't wait to get the web store up so I can stop manually generating invoices! :D

I'm watching and waiting with interest!

You really have to get that bear to do some tricks. I keep staring at it hoping it would dance or juggle or something, but it just stands there like a stuffed toy!

Actually, I tried to put an Easter Egg in it, but the idea never got through...

lol i like the pic of the bear - reminds me of something...ooh i know that Robin Hood Cartoon film, though the bear wasnt the king...

Just wondering if the giants are out and about, or are you waiting for them to be cast. Looking forward to the bear cast, i actually think that the bear will be the best cast as looks slightly simpler (compared to the other two) and has all that detail in the form of fur

im so excited! :D

I have sold and sent a few mountain giants already to those who PMed or emailed me direct so that I could send them an invoice email.

I got my Mountain Giant yesterday and it is awesome, I can recommend it to everyone, the sculpt like the Tree Giant is very clean with little in the way of mouldlines to clean up. The choice of heads and weapons is good too, I have gone for the more Neanderthal looking head on mine.
I put it together and am going to gap fill around the joints of the separate pieces, expect a WIP on him in the very near future.
Well done Dave I am looking forward to the next model from Majestic Bear minis.

That's great Tim, I'm glad you like it. I look forward to seeing your paint job on him!

To all, I apologise for the delay in getting the website up and running, but it is almost there. Potty & Co are putting in the finishing touches, and I'm frantically working on my Re-posed Birch Tree Giant to put onto my conversion page.

Very well done! :D
