Witch-King +1M, +1F on horse
Dwimmerlaik on horse
Khamûl the Easterling on horse
Undying on horse
Shadow Lord on horse
Knight of Umbar on Horse
Tainted on horse
Dark Marshall on horse

Thoughts?
Anyone seen an army like this before?

I left out the betrayer because I had to leave out one to fit the pts and he is sort o wasted without haradrim.

Anyway, C&C please.

lol.

Thanks,
LordElrond

hands down the worst nazgul is the tainted 1 might 1 fate, terrible really your better off getting all 9 but the last 2 being "normal" wraiths on horse, with as much m/w/f as possible, even worth stripping some of Wk' equipment to get max m/w/f

The betrayer is the best combat wraith hands down. He gets to reroll all failed wounds. In a list where you need to kill when you charge (this list) he will be invaluable. That said, dunno why you'd ever take a horse mtd wraith army over fellbeasts.
The tainted is good just to get behind enemy lines and mess with the heroics any heroes may call (but you need him on beast).

I've actually played this list before, not exactly as I fielded all 9. It's not that great of a list to be honest. Nazgul are support/command units, unless they are in fell beast really aren't that good in CQC unless the Witch-king takes his crown. Personally Khamul, the Witch King, the betrayer, and the Dark Marshall are the only ones I really think are strong enough to be mounted on horse-back and be effective.

It's a fun themed list, I'd like to have a go at playing it, you'd struggle to kill models but you should be able to keep your guys alive thanks to 8 Sap Wills a turn and Harbinger of Evil stopping heroes with their filthy heroic strikes charging you.

I think ultimately you'd get swamped/shot to death but I think it would be a fun game in which the normal troops would win the day for the opponent in the end. Although of course, elves and other high courage models would have much more of a chance than goblins.

When you ask if I've seen anything like it before, I've seen 6 of the named wraiths on Fell Beasts at 1000 points an awful lot and that is no fun to play against. The combination of monstrous cavalry, the wraith's magic and the new monster rules makes the Fell Beasts all but unstoppable and makes for a very dull game for your opponent. I think using an all Fell Beast army is fine if you tell your opponent in advance so they can prepare one of several lists that would beat it but turning up to normal games with just Fell Beasts will get very old, very quick. Your list on the other hand would present some interesting challenges, without seeming overpowered.

You're in Watford no? You should bring it down to the Titans games club in Finchley and I'll give it a go! :-)

Haven't got all of the models yet. Waiting for a few of them to pop up on eBay in metal.

You're in finchley?

Maybe I'll see you one day in the future then? :D

I'm based in Twickenham but my games club is in Finchley, it's the place that hosted the recent Longbottom Carnival. Meets every second Sunday and has 4/5 active SBG players, you should come along sometime, have a look at the website:

Thanks, Dr G. I'll try to come down sometime. I hope you don't mind as I'm only 13 though.
I'll bring my High Elves or Angmar for 500pts?
But this probably won't happen for quite a while and I often have football matches on Sundays so I guess I'll see you at some point but not sure when.

Thanks, LordElrond
